By accessing or using ShiftTools at swifttools.pages.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our tools immediately.

2. Scope of Service

ShiftTools provides free, browser-based micro-utilities, including file transfers (Swiftdrop), encrypted rooms (Chatter), image resizer, background remover, video converter, audio converter, watermark tool, QR code generator, crypto live charts, and PDF e-signer & PKI validator.

All tool execution occurs locally within your browser client. We do not host user files on cloud servers.

3. Zero Account Requirement

ShiftTools requires no registration, username, password, or subscription fee. Access is immediate, anonymous, and unrestricted.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use ShiftTools lawfully and responsibly. You agree NOT to:

  • Transfer, process, or sign files containing illegal, harmful, or copyright-infringing content
  • Use Swiftdrop to distribute malware, ransomware, or dangerous executables
  • Use Chatter to transmit spam, abusive language, or illegal communications
  • Attempt to compromise, overload, or disrupt the site or signaling infrastructure
  • Violate any local, state, national, or international laws while using our utilities

5. 100% User Content Ownership

You retain full, exclusive ownership rights to all files, media, images, documents, and content processed using ShiftTools. ShiftTools claims no intellectual property rights or ownership interest over any user content.

6. Client Hardware Resource Notice

ShiftTools utilizes WebAssembly (WASM) and HTML5 Canvas technology that runs on your local CPU and GPU. Complex tasks (such as batch video encoding or high-resolution AI background removal) may consume significant local memory and processor capacity. ShiftTools is not responsible for device slowdowns or browser crashes resulting from heavy local processing.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ShiftTools is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted tool availability, complete error-free execution, or suitability for critical business purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ShiftTools or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, including data loss or file corruption during conversion.
